Can I try one before I buy?
Yes. The Governors Drive showroom is set up so you can sit in the spas dry, and wet tests can be arranged. Seats fit different bodies differently — this is the fastest way to decide. Get directions.
Is winter a bad time to buy a hot tub?
It’s the best time to own one. Delivery and set-up run year-round in North Alabama, and buying in fall means you get the whole cold season out of it rather than waiting until spring, when a spa competes with the pool.
What does it cost to run?
Modern spas are well insulated and hold temperature under a sealed cover; running cost is closer to a second refrigerator than a second pool. Cover condition matters more than anything else — we carry replacements in our accessories range.
Who services it after the sale?
We do. Johnson Pools & Spas runs its own technicians for water testing, filters, pumps, heaters, covers and warranty work on the spas we sell — see spa service & repair.
Do you sell pools too?
Yes — gunite, fiberglass, vinyl liner and above-ground. Plenty of customers start with a spa in the fall and plan the pool for spring — plan your investment.

Our showroom sits at 2609 Governors Dr. SW, on the south-west side of Huntsville — spas on the floor, filled and running, so a visit is a wet test rather than a brochure. We have been at this in the Tennessee Valley for over 44 years, which in practice means the person who sells you the spa is still here when the cover needs replacing.
Why a spa suits this climate
North Alabama gives us a long, damp shoulder season and short sharp cold snaps rather than months of hard freeze. That is close to ideal for a hot tub: usable every week of the year, and the nights that shut a pool down — high thirties, low forties, clear — are exactly the nights a spa is best.
